Exeter Stroke Group

Exeter Peer Support Stroke Group is a support network for stroke survivors living in Exeter and the surrounding area.  It includes a regular drop-in session, a singing for wellbeing group and a monthly “Round Robin” email newsletter.

The Drop-in

The Drop-in takes place on the first Wednesday of every month at the Mint Methodist Church on Fore Street in Exeter, 10.45am – 12.15pm. It is an opportunity to meet with other stroke survivors, share experiences and advice, and build friendships. Suggested donation of £2 per person helps to cover room hire costs.  Refreshments are available in the Mint’s cafe in the foyer.

The Singing Group

Our singing group takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at the Mint Methodist Church on Fore Street in Exeter, 10.45am – 12.15pm. Singing as part of a group is a great way to boost wellbeing and increase confidence following a stroke.  Singing is a natural way to release endorphins, lifting our mood and helping us to connect with others.  A suggested donation of £3 per person helps to cover session costs.  Refreshments are available in the Mint’s cafe in the foyer.
